Helcim 3D render

June 15, 2022

During my time at Helcim, I worked on 3D render visual direction before the company’s rebrand. This project was an exciting challenge that allowed me to bridge the gap between industrial design, UI/UX, and marketing visuals.

I collaborated closely with the design team to develop a comprehensive 3D asset library that designers could easily use within Figma. The goal was to create a flexible system where designers could swap, customize, or assemble 3D compositions seamlessly, helping to maintain visual consistency across different design projects.

To achieve this, I focused on building high-quality 3D renders with consistent lighting, scene setup, and perspective. This ensured that every asset looked polished and professional, whether used in marketing visuals, website designs, or UI wireframes.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was seeing how the marketing and UI/UX teams leveraged these 3D assets. The marketing designers could quickly create engaging visuals for campaigns, social media, and branding materials, while UI/UX designers could integrate realistic product visuals into their wireframes and high-fidelity mockups. This not only enhanced brand storytelling but also improved design efficiency by reducing the need for one-off renders.

By establishing this 3D asset pipeline, I helped streamline the design workflow, making it easier for the entire creative team to work with cohesive, high-quality visuals directly within Figma. This experience reinforced my passion for merging 3D visualization with digital design, and it was incredibly fulfilling to see my work play a role in shaping Helcim’s evolving brand identity.
